How to use the Fragrance Excess Tracker

A quick guide for store users.

Back to app

1. Signing in

Open the app and enter the username and password supplied by your Retail Manager. Each store has its own account — your scanned items are private to your store.

Forgot your password? Hover the Forgot Password link on the sign-in card or ask your Retail Manager to change the password by logging into the admin console and changing the password.

2. Create boxes and cabinet storage first

Before scanning, you need at least one storage location. Excess is split into Male and Female sections and is numbered automatically:

  • Boxes: M1, M2… / F1, F2…
  • Under-cabinet storage: MCB1, MCB2… / FCB1, FCB2… (under the fragrance cabinets).

Use the Add Box or Add Cabinet Storage button under the relevant section to create a new location. Remove an empty location with its delete button.

3. Scan a fragrance

Scan or Type a Barcode and then press Enter or click on Add. The app looks the fragrance up automatically and shows its name and brand.

NB - Some fragrances may not have their name and brand found automatically after searching the barcode and will need to be added in manually.

Pick the gender, choose the box or cabinet to store it in, set the quantity, and confirm. The item is added to your store's list in real time.

If the barcode isn't found you can enter the name manually before saving.

4. Manage your list

Items are grouped by gender and then by box or cabinet. Use the search field to filter by name or barcode. Each item can be edited (change box or cabinet or quantity) or removed.

Rename or delete a box from its header. Deleting a box that still contains items will move or remove those items depending on the confirmation prompt.

5. Tips

  • Use a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner for fastest entry.
  • Your data lives in your store's account only — other stores can't see it.
  • Sign out from the header when you're finished on a shared device.
